Zadar is one of the popular Touristic towns in Croatia. I searched through hubpages and saw that there aren't many articles about beautiful towns of Croatia. So, starting with this hub, I'll slowly introduce you to other cities of Dalmatia. I'll also include informations about hotels, prices and other useful information.

Zadar is the city in Northern Dalmatia, it's central part of administrative and culture in Zadar County which includes some small towns. Zadar's history is 3000 years old and is one of the oldest resorts on the Mediterranean. Zadar had an oldest diocese in the Croatian territory.

Today Zadar is a well known tourist destination that attracts tourists from all over the world. Not only because of its cultural heritage, but also because of its natural beauty. In the waters of the archipelago of Zadar there's more than 300 islands and islets, with the National Park Kornati and practical nature Telaščica, which are a paradise for boaters.

National Park ''Paklenica'' is in the North of Zadar and it's one of the beautiest parks in Croatia. I'll also include some pictures. If you're tourist you must visit ''Paklenica'' and of course mount Velebit which is a park for mountain tourism and mountain climbers. On the eastern side of Zadar there's a nature park called '' Vrana Lake ''. I also heard rumor that Zadar County is the second most visited county in Croatia.

Beaches in Zadar

Zadar has several public beaches. Best known is the beach of hotel complex "Borik" which is located 4 kilometers west of the city. A huge tourist attraction. One part of the beach is sandy with a water slide and pool for children, and the second part of the beach is pebbly and small. The entire complex is one of factors that need re-investment and with that it will become more popular.

I prefer a little unknown beaches, with small number of people. Because then I have my peace from work. And in Zadar it's very easy to find one ''lone'' beach. You just have to search. Since I introduced you to Zadar, now I'll write about apartments, prices and flights to Zadar. Hope to see you there in a near future.
